Concert Season Star Spangled Mozart

Two hundred years ago, Francis Scott Key wrote the song that forever symbolizes freedom to our country and remains the National Anthem to the home of the brave. The Phoenix Boys Choir memorializes the words written on that rainy night with an original arrangement of the National Anthem by our Artistic Director Georg Stangelberger and more patriotic songs including “The Battle Hymn of the Republic”. Our concert closes with a rare performance of Mozart’s Vespers (KV339), his final choral work composed for Austria’s Salzburg Cathedral in 1780. Join us as we commemorate a patriotic milestone and a classical music treasure.

Last season's concert was named One of The Arizona Republic's "10 Classical Concerts You Shouldn't Miss" - Ed Masley
