Dr. Dian Baker

Principal Accompanist

Internationally acclaimed pianist Dian Baker has toured both as soloist and chamber music collaborator on four continents, including Israel, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Malaysia, the Czech Republic, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, India, Pakistan, the Netherland Antilles, the United States, Central America, and eight tours throughout South America. Ms. Baker received the ‘Outstanding Woman of the Year’ award from Brigham Young University, where she directed the Collaborative Piano area for ten years. Ms. Baker has a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from Arizona State University, and is currently on the music faculty at Mesa Community College. Ms. Baker has recorded for the Pyramid, Klavier, Sanctus, Tantara, and Wilson Audiophile labels; her recently released recording of four-hand piano works with husband and pianist Eckart Sellheim was performed on Clara Schumann’s 1827 piano in Zwickau, Germany.

Flora Mogerman

Town and Cadet Choir Accompanist

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Flora is a graduate of Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Music Degree. She obtained her Master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music. While in New York, Flora toured the east coast with the New York City String Quartet and led a two-piano demonstration at Eastman School of Music. Since coming to Phoenix, she has played piano for more than 350 musicals, concerts and reviews. She has played the National Touring shows of “Evita” and “Will Rogers Follies”. She has been a soloist with the Phoenix and Scottsdale Symphonies as well as Musica Nova. Flora is an accompanist and private piano teacher at Scottsdale Community College and also accompanies at ASU and the Phoenix Boys Choir. She has been nominated for eight AriZoni awards for best musical director and has won five. A lifetime member of the American Federation of Musicians, she also teaches privately.
