Principal Accompanist
Internationally acclaimed pianist Dian Baker has toured both as soloist and chamber music collaborator on four continents, including Israel, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Malaysia, the Czech Republic, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, India, Pakistan, the Netherland Antilles, the United States, Central America, and eight tours throughout South America. Ms. Baker received the ‘Outstanding Woman of the Year’ award from Brigham Young University, where she directed the Collaborative Piano area for ten years. Ms. Baker has a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from Arizona State University, and is currently on the music faculty at Mesa Community College. Ms. Baker has recorded for the Pyramid, Klavier, Sanctus, Tantara, and Wilson Audiophile labels; her recently released recording of four-hand piano works with husband and pianist Eckart Sellheim was performed on Clara Schumann’s 1827 piano in Zwickau, Germany.
