DUET 19th Annual Poinsettia Tea

Listen to the Phoenix Boys Choir Town Choir while enjoying splendid tea - complete with scones, tea sandwiches, and dessert. Duet, a local nonprofit serving older adults and family caregivers, presents its 19th Annual Poinsettia Tea on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale at Gainey Ranch, 7500 East Doubletree Ranch Road. Spend quality time with friends and family from all generations at this special event. Destry Jetton, Arizona Midday Host with Channel 12, will serve as master of ceremonies.

Maryanne Kremer-Ames of Lyra will provide classical guitar music as guests arrive.

Tea proceeds will be “poured” into Duet’s one-on-one services that are provided free of charge to people in need. Tickets are $60 per person of which $27 is tax deductible. For reservations, call (602) 274-5022 by November 27.

Duet was formerly known as Beatitudes Center DOAR. Duet is still the same interfaith organization that provides compassionate help to homebound adults, caregivers, faith communities, and grandparents raising grandchildren. Volunteer, donate, and request help at www.duetaz.org.
