OUR HOLIDAY CONCERT SERIES IS ALMOST HERE!

Annual fund 2022 two.png
Your donation, no matter the amount, will make an impactful difference in the lives of the youth we serve.

HELP US CHANGE BOYS' LIVES THROUGH THE POWER OF MUSIC

We depend on donors like you to deliver our life-changing program. Since 1947, our music education and youth development program has positively impacted the lives of over 5,000 boys. They have learned to work in an ensemble toward a common goal, to develop courage, poise, discipline and tenacity, to increase their confidence, and to gain focus, concentration and memory skills.

These responsible, caring, creative young people become our future leaders and citizens endowed with a passion for the performing arts and community. Members of our choirs come from throughout the Greater Phoenix area and represent a diversity of backgrounds. Through your support, we can continue to provide financial aid to all qualifying choristers, so no boy is turned away due to an inability to pay.

75th Anniversary Gala

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2023

at the
HEARD MUSEUM

EXPERIENCE THE ADVENTURE OF THE PBC 75th ANNIVERSARY GALA

The excitement is building for the 75th Anniversary edition of our signature fundraising Gala at the historic Heard Museum in central Phoenix. The emcee for the evening's festivities will be former Phoenix Suns star Cedric Ceballos, with live performances by the PBC Cadet Choir, Town Choir, Tour Choir, Young Men's Ensemble, and Masters Men's Ensemble. The Orpheus Male Chorus will lend their voices to the night, as well. Add in a delicious dinner and both live and silent auctions for an event you definitely won't want to miss.

Proceeds from the Gala enable us to continue providing lifechanging experiences for the youth we serve, particularly for those whose participation in our programs would not be possible without supplemental financial assistance.

Sponsorship opportunities are available now, and we are actively seeking auction items. To learn more, visit our GALA WEBPAGE or contact Brandi Reynolds at breynolds@boyschoir.org or via text/phone at 602.561.1094.

SING WITH US IN OUR 2022-2023 SEASON

We're Celebrating Our 75th Anniversary!

The Phoenix Boys Choir is so much more than our GRAMMY-award winning music education program.  Participation in our choir opens the world to your son through the development of critical life skills, lifelong friends and domestic and international travel that they'll remember the rest of their lives!

CHORISTERS AND EDUCATORS GET CREATIVE WITH JIM PAPOULIS

Thank you Jim Papoulis (2).png

Phoenix Boys Choir choristers recently participated in a 2-day songwriting workshop with world-renowned composer and inspirational teacher Jim Papoulis. Our singers collaborated with Mr. Papoulis in each phase of the process of creating a brand new song - a powerful experience that gave them agency in expressing their thoughts, ideas and dreams. In addition to gaining insight into the music composition process, it also helped them tap into their individual creative abilities. The newly-composed collaborative composition will premiere during our 2022-2023 Season.

Mr. Papoulis also led a session with Arizona general music and choral arts teachers, where participants received practical ideas to help their students compose and perform quickly. The professional development event concluded with a drum circle designed to offer a framework for building rhythm in students.

We invite you to join our email list to get the most current information about future professional development opportunities!

Support the Phoenix Boys Choir

We would love your support.

No amount is too big or too small.

With your help, we can continue to do our work of serving boys and young men in our community.

Please enjoy as Phoenix Boys Choir members sing Pinkzebra's Heroes & Dreamers during Voices of Unity, the final virtual concert of our 73rd season. We were delighted to join our voices with members of the Tucson Girls Chorus, Brigham Young University - Hawaii Concert Choir, Singing Girls of Texas, and South Bay Children's Choir.
