PHOENIX BOYS CHOIR
MUSIC THEORY CLASSES
Open to all youth for the very first time!
Join us for Phoenix Boys Choir Music Theory Classes, open to all youth for the very first time! Eight-week classes start on Thursday, August 20, 2020 and run every Thursday until October 8, 2020. A second eight-week session will start where we left off on
October 15, 2020 and conclude on December 10, 2020 (no class on Thanksgiving).
Cost for each session is $160.
Learning music theory provides you with a full understanding of the language of music. For example, you may be a skillful speaker of Spanish, but without knowing how to write it, you have not mastered the language completely. Similarly, a fairly accomplished musician, without music theory, would be unable to read and transcribe music in its beautiful written form. In order to be a truly good musician, the understanding of music theory is a
skill you must develop.
Our talented artistic staff will provide an online engaging, hands-on music theory class where you’ll read, write and understand the elements of music like you never have before! Besides being fun, theory helps students truly appreciate the music in the world around them. You will also progress faster in the study of your instrument, ensembles, orchestra and choir. Music theory gives you the tools to learn, enjoy and create even more than you thought possible. Space is limited, so enroll today!
