HELP US CHANGE BOYS' LIVES
THROUGH THE POWER OF MUSIC

Annual fund 2022 two.png

Since 1947, our music education and youth development program has positively impacted the lives of over 5,000 boys. They have learned to work in an ensemble toward a common goal, develop courage, poise, discipline and tenacity, increase their confidence and gain focus, concentration and memory skills.

These responsible, caring, creative young people become our future leaders and citizens endowed with a passion for the performing arts and community. Members of our choirs come from throughout the Greater Phoenix and represent a diversity of backgrounds. Due to your support, we can continue to provide financial aid to all qualifying choristers, so no boy is turned away due to an inability to pay.

Today, the stakes are so high for boys. It’s hardly a secret that many boys are struggling. A generation of young men are disappearing from colleges – a trend accelerated by the pandemic. Sixty percent of university graduates are now women; the gender education gap in favor of girls goes all the way back down the education pipeline. We believe our music education and youth development program is the game changer for the boys and young men we serve. We need your help today to continue to instill critical life skills through the power of music.

We depend on donors, like you, to deliver our program. Your donation, no matter the amount, will make an impactful difference in the lives of the youth we serve.

Our choral music education and youth development program changes the lives of the youth we serve. How do we know? Because our choristers, parents and alumni tell us about the impact of our program on their lives:

“This choir was a huge influence in my life as a boy. It shaped my character in ways that still follow me to this day.” - David E

"I had a great experience as a Phoenix Boys Choir member. I made great friends, learned so much traveling on tour and learned skills that, now that I'm a high school graduate, I realize are critical in life. Thank you Phoenix Boys Choir for such a meaningful education." Dylan S

"While traveling with the choir, I learned at a young age to seek to understand other people and cultures. My time with the PBC is a highlight of my life!” Ryan S

SWEEPS 2023-24 IS COMING SOON!

Sweeps helps our boys learn while they earn!

It provides major financial support for our education and outreach programs.  It offers our young singers a way to contribute to their choir expenses.  It is a virtual classroom, teaching the boys goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics.

Thank you for making a difference with your support!

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our sponsors and guests, our 75th Anniversary Gala was a night for the ages. We have a million thank you's for everyone who made the event a success; allowing the Phoenix Boys Choir to provide financial aid to all qualifying choristers who want to sing.

Our Gala Master of Ceremonies, former Phoenix Suns star, Cedric Ceballos kept the evening fun and lively. The crowd was wowed by performances by the PBC Cadet Choir, Town Choir, Tour Choir, Young Men's Ensemble, and Masters Men's Ensemble. A special thank you to Dr. Brook Larson and the Orpheus Male Chorus for joining us on stage in song. We are grateful to the two composers, Joe Fitzmartin and Dale Sakamoto, whose pieces we premiered. Additional thanks to special Gala performers, The Sahnas Brothers (PBC alumni), Dr. Elizabeth Buck, Miro Koshio, and the always spectacular, Yellow Bird Productions.

Proceeds from the Gala enable us to continue providing lifechanging experiences for the youth we serve, particularly for those whose participation in our programs would not be possible without supplemental financial assistance.
